Sky

Sky Vegas, the online arm of Sky's betting and gaming division, were looking to reactivate lapsed customers and nurture key players. In line with the DM campaign's we had previously put together, we needed to recreate the excitement of gaming within the marketing collateral, both offline and online.

We had previously used scratch card mailers to incentivise players, however there was a clear barrier in using offline communications alone. Once a player had received their bonus, they had to turn on their computer, log-on to the website, reclaim it and place a bet which was a barrier to entry resulting in possible loss of redemption.

We therefore developed a cross media marketing campaign whereby players were sent an offline mail piece teaser driving them to their very own personalised URL where we had recreated the excitement of a scratch card within their very own tailored web page. The bonus could be redeemed immediately at a click of the button online. The campaign was very successful.
